(EP\u0130A\u015e) signed a memorandum of understanding with China&#8217;s Shanghai Petroleum and Natural Gas Exchange (SHPGX). EP\u0130A\u015e CEO Taha Meli Arvas said that this cooperation will be an important step for both countries in energy trade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Belt and Road Initiative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CEO Arvas attended the &#8220;Dialogue on Establishing Connectivity and Cooperation among Commodity Trade Markets under the Belt and Road Initiative&#8221; meeting held in China.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorandum of Understanding Signed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Following the meeting moderated by SHPGX CEO Shaohua Fu and opened by SHPGX President Xu Guo, EP\u0130A\u015e and SHPGX signed a Memorandum of Understanding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Goal is to Enhance Trade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Arvas, CEO of EP\u0130A\u015e, who attended the event as the keynote speaker, said: &#8220;With the signed memorandum of understanding, we aim to increase cooperation between the two energy exchanges and improve energy trade between China and T\u00fcrkiye.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Ultimate Goal is Mutual Transaction<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Emphasizing that the cooperation between EP\u0130A\u015e and SHPGX will be an important step for both countries in energy trade, Arvas said, &#8220;Our ultimate goal is to enable EP\u0130A\u015e market participants to trade at SHPGX and SHPGX market participants to trade at EP\u0130A\u015e.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>200 Billion Dollar Turnover<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Chinese Energy Exchange SHPGX, which operates in the field of oil and natural gas trading, has an annual turnover of 200 billion dollars.<\/p>\n<p>[ngg src=&#8221;galleries&#8221; ids=&#8221;303&#8243; display=&#8221;basic_thumbnail&#8221; thumbnail_crop=&#8221;0&#8243; show_slideshow_link=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EP\u0130A\u015e and SHPGX Signed Memorandum of Understanding EP\u0130A\u015e CEO Arvas: An Important Step in Energy Trade Working towards T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;s goal of becoming a central country in energy trade, Enerji Piyasalar\u0131 \u0130\u015fletme A.\u015e.
