Omer Haroon Malik, Head of Strategy and Energy Market Development at CPPA-G, visited EXIST’s campus in Maslak with the delegation and received information about Türkiye’s energy transition process.

At the meeting moderated by EXIST Strategy Development Director Avni Çebi, comprehensive presentations were made on an overview of Turkish Energy Markets, Transparency Platform, EXIST’s settlement activities, wholesale and retail power market structure and collateral management by EXIST’s experts on the subject. In addition, the Memorandum of Understanding signed between EXIST and CPPA-G was extended until 2028.

Türkoğlu: We are ready to transfer the experience we have gained in Energy Markets to our “brother country” Pakistan.

Ahmet Türkoğlu, EXIST CEO made a “welcome” speech to the Pakistani delegation during the visit. Expressing his satisfaction about the visit, he said, “We have deep relations with our brother country Pakistan, based on history. I believe that such visits will further develop our relations. As EXIST, we are always ready to share our experiences in energy markets with our btorher country Pakistan.”
