Collaterals in the Futures Electricity Market
Two types of collateral are taken within the scope of the forward electricity market;
- Total Futures Electricity Market Collateral (TVEPT)
- Default Guarantee Account Contribution (TGH).
Collateral transactions are carried out over the accounts opened at Takasbank.
The securities to be accepted as collateral for the Total Futures Electricity Market are as follows:
- Turkish Lira,
- Foreign Currency (US Dollar or Euro),
- Letters of Collateral in TL or Foreign Currency,
- Government Domestic Debt Securities,
- Eurobond
The assets to be accepted as collateral for the Default Collateral Account Contribution are as follows:
- Turkish Lira,
- Foreign Currency (US Dollar or Euro),
- Government Domestic Debt Securities
