EXIST Employees have planted saplings in the “EXIST Memorial Forest”, which is a project consist of 10,000 trees.
The “Sapling Planting Activity for EXIST Memorial Forest “- which will be established with the planting of 10,000 (ten thousand) saplings in the Şile Afforestation Area on behalf of all EXISTemployees – was held with the participation of EXIST employees.
The event – where our employees participated with their families – started with picking up of our employees and their families from Maslak and Altunizade. The teams of our stakeholder ÇEKUD (Environmental Organizations Solidarity Association) and Şile District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry Directorate – who completed all the preparations – welcomed our employees in the field of planting saplings and gave them a short briefing.
Making a short speech at the ceremony, Human Resources Manager Ali YENİLMEZ emphasized that; their aim with the event was to contribute to nature and to the world as well as leaving a beautiful gift to the future generations. Afterwards, a total of 200 saplings – which had been brought to the area – were planted in the field according to the information provided. During the planting of saplings, it was worth seeing especially the excitement of the children who came with their families. The ceremony ended with the offering of Turkish pancakes and ayran to the participants.

As a requirement of our social responsibility; we have also implemented our “EXIST Memorial Forest” project within the scope of our efforts to reduce the impact of climate changes and related environmental problems. We have planted our saplings and we will follow their growth and development. Our aim is to leave a gift from EXIST to the future generations.
